Some men say that sinners were saved be­fore the world began. Do you believe this? Do you believe what these men say, or do you believe the Bible statement, that "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners?"

The church of Christ or Old School Baptists believe that sinners were lost, and Jesus came to save them. And in obedience to our Lord withdraw from those who teach otherwise.

Our God foreknew and loved some sinners, and before the world began He purposed or arranged to save them. And now in fulfillment of this "eternal purpose" or covenant of grace, Jesus has come and made special atonement for them/ Thus Jesus did save His chosen ones--not before He came, but on the tree or cross, and so in proof of His great love for us He finished the work He came to do.
