To the Old School Baptists of Texas, let me make this earnest appeal in behalf of our storm stricken people.

The destruction of Galveston and the coast sufferers is very urgent. Brethren, by divine providence this opportunity to do good is presented to us. God has given us all we have, and He may leave us without bread any day. So let us obey our God, and now cheerfully help the needy.
