Below I give some comforting words from my mother. I had thought perhaps in my long absence, she felt neglected, but her words of faith and love are so edifying and encouraging to me, when the doubtful inquiry arises, "Lord what shall I do?” So I give them to you. "Dear son, I feel to commend you for the course you are pursuing. It is a real pleasure to know you are traveling and visiting brethren and proclaiming the glad tidings of salvation to sinners, as a true servant of God should do. We read of the Lord saying to one, 'Follow me,' But he said, Lord suffer me first to go and bury my father. Jesus said unto him, 'Let the dead bury their dead, but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.' Another wished to go and bid farewell to them that were at home, and Jesus said unto him, 'No man having put his hand to the plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.' "Oh, may the Lord guide and direct you according to His will, and enable you to trust and abide in His love. I often fear I don't love my Saviour with that deep heart felt affection that I should. I can do nothing but say, Lord, increase my love more and more. Pray for us. Write often. Your mother," A.W. DENMAN.
