Passing any reference to Centralia and Marysville meetings, I will tell you something of Macedonia, for our mutual improvement. Here I was reminded with shame of my own indifference in the service of Him who so willingly died for me. Being without regular preaching the brethren fail to meet promptly and regularly. So on this occasion, we were ready to make excuse. One could not leave worldly cares, some had forgotten meeting time, another thought no one would come, he must see after some land, and I felt so unqualified. Arriving late, we found Sister White with some others who, having waited some time, were starting home. Brother John S. Madole, 80 years of age, came in during service. The faithfulness of this aged brother in coming 15 miles, is an exhortation to us all to be more constant and self-sacrificing in obedience to our Lord Dear brethren everywhere, remember, "In due time Christ died for the ungodly." In view of this, meet regularly and in due time. Read a chapter, of God's holy word, sing with grace in your hearts, "confess your faults one to another, and you shall be blessed in the deed." Truly, the harvest is great and the laborers are few. Yours in love, M. D. DENMAN
