Beloved Brethren and Friends:--Through the mercy of God the weather has been fair and the roads good, and I have been blessed with a prosperous journey "by the will of God," and have returned home and found my parents well. Praise the Lord. Let me first say, while many churches are in a cold state, I am glad to report that in most of them there is marked improvement. Let us praise the Lord for this. Dear brethren and sisters, I feel thankful to God for allowing me to see many of your faces, and to observe the proof of your love for Jesus and His truth. O, brother, sister, I feel so unworthy to be under your roof, and to share your kindness. I want to beg you to forgive my imperfections, and pray for me that I may have charity which "suffereth long and is kind," and "is not easily provoked.” Let me express my love to you for the image of Jesus you bear in your doctrine, in your conversation, and in your ways. May the Lord God abundantly bless you all. In view of the great love of Jesus proven on the cross, may you always be "kind one to another, 'tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Eph. iv. 32. May the Lord lead us all with increased zeal and loyal love, to read His Word, be instant in prayer, and to constantly encourage and attend faithful preaching. Following the example of Jesus, may His grace ever lead us to be "longsuffering, forbearing one another in love." Eph. iv. 2. Your unworthy brother in love, Sparta, Tex. M.D. DENMAN.
