Elder Bill Walden is pastor of the Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church and is scheduled to preach there each Sunday.  Their worship services begin at 10:30am, with song service following by the preaching service.  The Church has lunch each Sunday.

The Stratton Church hosts their Annual Communion Meeting each 3rd Sunday in May and they also share the rotation of the Annual “Camp Meeting” with the Churches at Doss (Squaw Creek) and McMahan (Bethel).  The Camp Meeting will be hosted by Stratton again in 2009.

• From 183 in Cuero, Texas, turn east on E. Bailey St. (FM 1447)
  

• Stay on FM 1447 for about 8 - 8.5 miles church is on the right side of the road.

Traveling Directions (From Yoakum, Texas):

• From Yoakum, take Highway 111E south/east out of Yoakum and turn right on FM 1447.  It will be approximately 8 miles.
  

• Stay on FM 1447 until you see the Pilgrim’s Rest Primitive Baptist Church on the left.  It will be approximately 10 miles.
