The Houston Primitive Baptist Church is located on the east side of Houston, just off Interstate 10 and Federal Road.The address of the Church house is 917 Keyport - Houston, Texas 77015.
The Church was constituted on July 24, 1943 with 13 charter members.The first pastor of the Houston Primitive Baptist Church was Elder J.P. Dale.Through the years other’s called to pastor their Church have included Eld. Woodrow Wilson, Elder Virgil Stanaland, Eld. Frank McMillan, Eld. J.A. Rowell Jr. and Eld. Jerry Cleburn.At present, Eld. Mark Rowell serves as pastor and has done so since 1999.

The Houston Primitive Baptist Church holds services each Sunday on the month, with the exception of some 5th Sunday’s.They share in a rotation with the other Houston area Churches for 5th Sunday’s.Their worship services begin with song service at 10:30am CST and preaching is at 11:00am CST.
