The Snyder Primitive Baptist Church is located on the corner of 23rd Street and Avenue M in Snyder, Texas.The street address is 2001 Avenue M.
The Snyder Primitive Baptist Church was first organized as the “Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church” on August 17, 1895.The first pastor to serve the Church was Eld. William Lagow of Bethel Church (Nolan County, Texas).The first Church Clerk was Bro. A.B. Woody.
Ministers to serve as pastor of the Snyder Primitive Baptist Church have included Elder J.A. Bean, ElderKenneth Martin, Elder W.H. Bodine, Elder Sidney Ellis, Elder Jasper Chambers, Elder J.B. Owens, Elder R.B. Hester and their current pastor is Elder Ward Rowell.
The Snyder Church was also a charter member of the West Providence Association beginning on July 12, 1901.

The Snyder Church holds services on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sunday’s of each month.The 2007 appointments are as follows:

4th Sunday - Elder Bernard Gowens
The Snyder Church host a homecoming meeting once or twice a year. Their next homecoming meeting will be the 5th weekend in September of 2007 (9/28 - 9/30) beginning Friday night and continuing through Sunday morning. The Church has invited Elder Mark Richards and Elder Mike Montgomery to be with them during that meeting.
